Arewa House books and journals are available through the African Studies Library.

Arewa House is the center for historical documentation and research of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria.

The center is concerned with research and documentation of the history and culture of Northern Nigeria, as well as with contemporary studies on policy, peace and leadership.

It houses archives, a library, as well as a museum. Here, we would like to highlight in particular the collection and preservation of Arabic/Ajami Manuscripts as well as the Northern Educational Research Project.

In addition, the Arewa House has an active publication series including a journal, as well as monographs and edited volumes. These are available through the Specialised Information Service for African Studies located at the Goethe-University of Frankfurt Library, as well as through inter-library loan.
